heart spainMarket leader in magazine publishing in Spain, has announced the sale of the masthead entrepreneur to a newly formed company, Revista Emprendedores SL, created by the current director of the magazine, Alexander Vesgathe investment fund black pearlthe partners of the production company Onza and Jose Luis Izquierdo, Wizard More. The transaction includes the entire staff of the magazine and the web Entrepreneur.es.
The reasons for this transfer are purely strategic, according to an official communication from Hearst Spain, which Revista Emprendedores SL considered the best option for the further development of the Emprendedores brand, which, in addition to being a leader in circulation and audience, is also recognized and valued by readers and advertisers.
To the Alexander Vesga, who rises from editor-in-chief to the new CEO of Emprendedores, “this stage opens up new perspectives for our brand. The aim is to strengthen our status as a reference publication in business creation and management, and soon to become a service platform for the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem.” Vesga adds: “I would like to welcome Cristina Martín Conejero, Benedetta Poletti and all of Hearst Spain in general to express my gratitude for giving us the opportunity to begin this exciting phase.” He also concludes, “Thanks to the entire current team of entrepreneurs who have accompanied me on this adventure and to Blackpearl, the Onza -Partner and Mago More for their fundamental trust and support in carrying out this operation.”
