INCIBE announces 224 million for cybersecurity ideas

INCIBE will develop the strategy for innovative public procurement through 7 actions:

Strategic R&D programs for the development of disruptive technology projects by companies in the cybersecurity industry that respond to long-term challenges.

Technological solutions for the most important Public Sector Challenges.

Technological solutions for Cybersecurity in SMEs.

Technological solutions for cyber security for strategic areas (including energy, transport and infrastructure).

Technological solutions to improve infrastructures of cybersecurity and INCIBE’s own equipment.

Technological solutions associated with training or capacity building and knowledge of human nature.

Public purchasing of innovations small projects driven by start-ups, micro and SMEs.

With the aim of defining each of the contracts subject to the final tender, INCIBE announces the launch of a market consultation from July 1st to August 13th, open to the presentation of projects by companies and other economic actors.

After analyzing all the projects presented, INCIBE will develop the tools to carry out each of the identified actions. In mid-October, the list of contracts, known as the Early Demand Map, will be released to begin bidding immediately.

This investment will position INCIBE as one of the main players in innovative public procurement in Spain and the national cybersecurity ecosystem as a leading sector at international level in the use of tools to promote the sector through public demand.
