The FIE consists of an Attitude Change Program in which more than 60 academic, cultural, social and sporting activities are carried out. This event brings together more than 300 young entrepreneurs from Guatemala and across Latin America each year, aiming to awaken their entrepreneurial spirit over six days at IRTRA’s Retalhuleu site.
During the FIE, activities such as conferences and workshops will be held with major Guatemalan businessmen and figures addressing issues related to entrepreneurship, leadership, teamwork and global citizenship in the 21st century. This year the FIE will present speakers such as Alan Tenenbaumwriter and motivational coach; angie albizu, TV presenter, speaker, author and producer; Harris Whitbeck, renowned journalist who worked for CNN and the Discovery Channel; Y Virgil Cordón, work performance expert, business coach and book author, among many other entrepreneurs.
During the FIE, young people demonstrate their potential in academic competitions such as Desafío IQ, El Aprendiz, Factor FIE and learn about business simulators such as MESE and the stock market. In addition, there are football championships, rallies and other activities of a playful nature.
The FIE celebrates 17 years of experience in Guatemala thanks to its successful formula, which to date has transformed the attitudes of more than 3,900 young people. The 17th International Entrepreneurs Forum will take place from December 6th to 11th. It’s a non-profit event.
