For this reason they have decided to change the way they produce in Borna, focusing on social inclusion and environmental protection through working with foundations, reusing discarded fabrics and using biodegradable packaging. To achieve this goal, they have formed an alliance with the Mediapila Foundation, which promotes the employment of women in precarious situations and trains them in textile trades.

We realized that sewing the hat patches could be done by a person who wanted to learn a trade and that the trade was a tool to get ahead.

In addition, they have formed an alliance with the In Good Hands and Ecoinclusion foundations. The first offers work to people with disabilities and takes care of the ironing and packaging of the brand’s products.

Not only did we generate more inclusive work, but the organization was able to open a business unit that they didn’t have before.

Eventually, Borna understood that it could add value to the after-sales of its products and began working with the Ecoinclusion Foundation, which converts plastic into building materials.

We realized that to complete this virtuous cycle, we could use part of our sales to buy eco-bricks.
