TikTok is the trending social network. It’s one of the fastest growing platforms and in recent years it’s been particularly popular thanks to its short video format, which is popular with the youngest. In this sense, ByteDance is also known to use these principles to evaluate the performance of its employees, both positively and negatively.

While it may seem, judging by the latest facts, that TikTok’s corporate principles are something of a military handbook, the truth is that most of them drink from the internal culture that Silicon Valley’s great entrepreneurs, such as jeff bezoshave created in their companies.

One of the cues the TikTok Matrix gives to its employees is to “work tenaciously to ensure that the diversity of the world is reflected in your work team.” To this end, they call for the participation of all people to be promoted from the point of view of listening and mutual respect.

Strive for the highest. This principle can be applied to the internal culture of any company, but it is no less important. As they explain from ByteDance, to achieve this it is necessary to constantly grow and learn and “distill ideas” until you find a way to improve.

Keep your feet on the ground and be bold. “Make your own discoveries, focus on impact, take risks, break new ground, and iterate fast.” This is how TikTok’s parent company describes this principle, encouraging its employees to take risks and show initiative seize.

Be open and humble. This is one of the principles that, according to the directors of TikTok, the wayward worker who denounced the wage inequality between the social network and its competitors has not followed. “Be aware and control your ego. It approaches the problems with a broad perspective,” they explain from ByteDance.
