Do you want to get out of mental poverty? Here I will teach you how to do it because it is the first thing every person who wants to succeed should know.
It’s impossible to be successful if you have a weak mind. Believing that you have nothing, that what you have is worthless, settling where you are, being conformist… these are situations that show that we need to get out of mental poverty.
But here we will not talk much about what this mentality is. Well if you pay close attention this is the second part on how to get out of mental poverty so we already saw that introduction in the first part which you can enjoy below:
There we learned what kind of poverty it is. Also share 4 interesting points to get out of this, which are summarizing:
- Understand that success, even money, is not a bad thing, it is not a sin!
- Appreciate what you have.
- Avoid real situations that affect the way you think.
- Get rid of the old when needed.
To expand on these points, I invite you to visit the previous article. Here we will continue to share more tips that will help you break out of poverty mentality.
Let’s see how we can get out of mental poverty.
Without further ado, let’s move on to the fifth point that will help us change our mentality, which is reflected in reality.
#5 That the center is not money.
This point is closely related to #4. I remind you that “poverty” means “need” and if you fall in love with money, no matter how much you have, you will never be satisfied.
That is tantamount to the fact that you will always need more. And you may have a lot physically, but mentally you will be poor, you will need more money!
And the problem is not only that, but in the midst of this hardship, you can do crazy things to make more money uncontrollably, which can lead you to make mistakes! Reaching failure, bankruptcy, etc.
Maybe you don’t have a lot of money right now. But if it is possible that your focus is only on him. Unfortunately, this will bind you to poverty. You will never feel satisfied and in this eagerness to achieve it, you can make unforgivable mistakes.
To get out of mental poverty, I recommend you to focus on other things. For example, not committing to having lots of money, but offering a solution, being recognized, using money as a means to help yourself, your family, and even other people.
If you focus on that, the money will come “by itself”.
#6 Try the “do.”
A mentally poor person expects many results without much effort. Instead of going out and succeeding, they sit around waiting for others to do something for them, just asking, hoping others will take pity on them, etc. I share this picture, which I really liked.
Although this is an extreme case (what happens), this happens not only on the street, but between us. Well-dressed people with jobs… who are only satisfied with what they get, worse, they always play the victim and want everyone to feel sorry for them.
So if you’re that kind of person, I don’t blame you. We’re often taught this from a young age: “Get into debt, then apologize for not being able to pay, ask them to lend you more money…” to give just one example.
Friends, if we want to achieve something, we do something other than making others feel sorry!
I invite you to “do something”, even if it is small. you want to drink water don’t wait for them to bring it to you, go and look for it (it seems silly, but it’s a practice that can help you). Do you want to eat something delicious this weekend? don’t wait for someone to invite you, start working, earn some money and even invest it in a mini business. The important thing is that you no longer wait for everything to happen, but that you do something yourself to achieve what you want.
#7 Look for another alternative.
Something that binds us to poverty is saying “You can’t”. People interested in starting a business but it turns out their supplier went bankrupt. “Then we can’t set up the company because we don’t have a supplier.”
If you want to get out of mental poverty, you need to look for other alternatives.
There are countries where the economic situation is not very good, where there are almost no resources and the system in general “blocks opportunities”. So there are people who say ‘You can’t get ahead in this country’, but it’s also true that there are many others who say ‘We have to get ahead somehow’.
Because although our environment influences our entrepreneurship, it is our mentality that really tells us whether we are progressing or not.
There are those who think that in the crisis it is not possible to take action, but the crisis is the perfect scenario for an entrepreneur to rise up, as action is almost synonymous with offering a solution.
I recommend this article:
What to sell in times of crisis How to do in times of crisis?
So I invite you again to start small. If you have an appointment and wanted to take the train, but the train couldn’t take you for X reason, don’t say “I’m not going”, look for another alternative.
So don’t shut yourself off from everything because the circumstances aren’t what you want, but always look for a solution that certainly exists!
#8 Reduce loads.
Excessive stress hinders our ability to think clearly. Lots of problems, money for groceries, water supply, electricity, internet, paying rent… and on top of that we are the only ones who work or call the shots.
Imagine if you also had to take care of cleaning your house, taking the kids to school, etc.
No matter how positive we are, these situations stress us out so much that we say, “Until when? I can’t take it anymore”. This not only distracts us from the endeavor, but creates a loop, a routine in our head of always dealing with the same things…
…And even if we eventually have the opportunity to do something, we won’t do it because we’ve created a habit that enslaves us to something else entirely.
When we reduce the loads, we not only have more time to work on our business. But we will also be less stressed when we shift from a blocked mindset to a fresh mindset that takes advantage of every opportunity.
So I recommend a few things:
- Do not take loads that do not belong to you.
- Commit a lot less more than you can.
- Gain partners for your company.
- Ask your relatives for support in household matters.
If you let go of a little burden, you will see life differently, you will be less stressed and the pressure will not be the same.
Are you ready to emerge from mental poverty?
If so, do you intend to do so and follow our advice to get out of that mentality safely. And when you get out of this mentality, success will be closer to you.
So I encourage you not to take this article as something you have read and forgotten. No! but that you see it and keep it in your mind, so that you may resolve to come out of poverty.
Remember that no one can get you out of this, only you can choose, strive, persevere and you will achieve it!
